For 10 years now, the same dedicated few have responded to community needs and have quietly and efficiently run the centre from behind the scenes. But numbers are low and we need MORE community spirited people to give up just 2 hours for 6 meetings a year, to ensure we will have a sustainable centre for years to come.
Can You Help?
The Committee meet the third Thursday of every second month and is made up of local residents, Centre user groups and Centre volunteers, with a vision to see the Centre become self sufficient with an open door policy, striving for access and equity for all our community.
It doesn't matter if you've never been on a committee before, just having a genuine interest in the centre and your local community is reason enough to become part of a very welcoming and friendly group of people.
